Art Exhibition Perth: An Evening with Jade Fairbairn

Over the past year I have been finding my way back to something older and quieter than the noise of everyday life. Back to the earth. Back to the body. Back to the kind of beauty that doesn't ask permission. The paintings in this collection grew out of that search, and together they form something I am genuinely proud to share.

The Collection

This has been a year of discovering what it means to rebel softly and heal deeply. Of sitting with colour until it told me what it needed to say. The works move through mineral and animal, through stone and breath and motion, exploring the grounded serenity we find when we finally stop resisting the natural world and simply return to it.

Malachite, Jasper, and around twenty original works make up this collection. Each one is its own world. Earthy and feminine, textured and alive. Some carry the weight of ochre and raw umber. Others breathe in sage and blush. Some works will stop you mid-step. Others will stay with you long after you leave.

This is about the space between softness and strength, and everything that lives there.

The Evening

I would love for you to come and experience these works in person.

On 1 August from 7pm to 9pm, I am hosting an exclusive exhibition evening at Guildford Town Hall in Perth. There will be canapés, a silent auction, and plenty of time to wander through the collection and talk. Originals will be available to purchase on the night, with some pieces available to secure in advance.

A portion of proceeds will go to Worthy Australia, supporting women and children in crisis due to domestic violence. It felt important that an evening celebrating beauty and healing also gave something back.
